Translation (English)

Ástríðr had these stones raised in memory of Eysteinn, her husbandman, who attacked Jerusalem and met his end up in Greece.

Translation (Swedish)

Estrid lät resa dessa stenar efter Östen, sin make, som drog till Jerusalem och dog borta i Grekland.

Additional information

Dubbelmonument tillsammans med U 135. Edberg (2006) pekar på att Sven, Östen och Estrid, inskrivna sent 1000-tal i en broderskapsbok från Reichenau, möjligen kan vara identiska med personerna på U 135 och U 136. Denna identifikation avvisas av Naumann 2009.
