Translation (English)

§A Here I carve(d) protection for you, Bófi, with/... ... to you is certain. And may the lightning hold all evil away from Bófi. May Þórr protect him with that hammer which came from out §B of the sea(?). Flee from evilness! You/it get/gets nothing from Bófi. The gods are under him and over him.

Translation (Swedish)

Här må jag rista (eller: ristade jag) skydd åt dig, Bove, med … är säker för dig (= du kan lita på). Och blixten hålle ont (borta) från Bove. Tor skydde honom med den hammare … Fly från det onda väsendet! Det(?) får intet av Bove. Gudar är under honom och över honom.
